PAOD and ankle-brachial-index
The peripheral arterial occlusive disease is an independent condition with serious health effects, most notably the restriction of walking ability, impaired wound healing or pain.
The diagnosis with the VASCASSIST is easy to perform, painless, and therefore well suited as a routine investigation. The main parameters of this study is the ankle-brachial index.
